FSMP - Food for Special Medical Purposes
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) is a a statuatory authority in the Australian Government Health portfolio. Within the Food Standards Code, Food for Special Medical Purposes exists to help manage the diets of people with certain diseases, disorder or medical conditions. Foods that conform to the FSMP part of the code must meet composition, labelling and sales methods set out in the code.

ElementGold conforms to the Food for Special Medical Purposes part of the FSANZ code. It conforms as a sole source of nutrition and must be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional (when being used in that way).
For ElementGold this means that:
